Conversion and new construction of a detached house, CH-9443 Widnau

Project description

The client’s aim was to remodel the existing parental home and extend the living space. Due to material properties, almost the entire existing part of the house had to be demolished. The central section was rebuilt in the previous style and extensions were planned and completed on both sides. The result is a modern, spacious single-family house in a beautiful location in the Middle Rhine Valley.

The HAKAfloor drywall component for underfloor heating was installed in the central section of the existing base plate. The very low installation height of HAKAfloor made it possible to maximise the room height and create an open and pleasant ambience.
