Expansion and comprehensive modernisation of Döbling Private Hospital, Saintstrasse 65, AT-1190 Vienna

DESCRIPTION

By 2026, Döbling Private Hospital will undergo significant expansion and modernisation, including an annexe and conversion measures to create additional space. The centrepiece of this transformation is a five-story extension. Just nine months after the foundation stone was laid, the building shell is now complete. Key elements of the extension include more space for the maternity ward, state-of-the-art operating rooms featuring natural daylight and more single rooms. A photovoltaic system, geothermal installation, green façade elements and a biodiversity garden ensure that the construction project is sustainable.

To provide heating and cooling to the annexe, 28 GEROtherm^® DUPLEX geothermal probes were installed.
