The building project is located in a heterogeneous context, which is characterized by the Albisriederstrasse, the new A-Park building as well as by the loose development structure in the form of point or row buildings. A Z-shaped new building takes over the spatial clarification. Thanks to this setting, a generous courtyard is created in interaction with the post office and the Albisriederhaus. The structural facades of Albisriederplatz and the neighboring Bachwiesen retirement center are taken up and translated into an independent form. A horizontal façade is proposed in which continuous, curtain parapets extend ring-like around the structure, unifying it into a holistic legible body.

"DasHaus" is a concept developed by "Sunnige Hof" to meet the needs of different target groups - including care services for the elderly residents. The project "DasHaus" aims to fulfill the wunch for dignified and individual aging in the cooperative. The quality of life of all residents is enhanced by the services and service infrastructures offered in "DasHaus". Thanks to the additional care services offered, living in one's own four walls will be possible for longer, even with health restrictions. The new building is planned with 78 apartments, 18 nursing rooms and a restaurant. The new building will be implemented for the first time as a pilot project in the Else Zübelin housing estate in Albisrieden.
