Wood plastic composites (WPCs) are thermoplastically processable composite materials. Consisting of different proportions of wood, polymer and additives, this composite material can be designed three-dimensionally in contrast to traditional wood-based materials and is more resistant to moisture. This means that there are virtually no limits to creativity.
The planned application, whether indoors or outdoors, determines the choice of material. As a decking material, it is characterised by high resistance to weathering and low shrinkage. The main requirements of WPC for facades are low weight and high fire resistance.
