In a historic urban oasis in Zurich-Wollishofen, the new Bellaria residential development is being built just a few minutes from the lake and downtown Zurich.

The 172 rental apartments of the new construction project are distributed over four higher-lying longhouses and four point houses in the lower row.

Heat generation: For each group of buildings/­units (1x long house and 1x point house; 4 blocks with 16 FLUX borehole heat exchangers each), energy is generated via a separately installed borehole heat exchanger field.

The probes are connected in a buried plastic shaft, which is placed outside the building. Two DN 125 pipes lead directly from the EWS distributor to the heating center.
