GEROtherm® VARIO – PULSE, Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne
CONSTRUCTION:
PULSE, Route de Genève 46, 1033 Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne
DESCRIPTION:
The total PULSE surface area of 43,000 m² is fully modular in order to best meet with tenants’ needs. The units comprising at least 300 m² combine luminosity, independence and connectivity thanks to the various entry points, optimised circulation flows and a central patio, which acts as a genuine lung for PULSE. Units have been designed with care in order to ensure the fluid circulation of goods and people. Units are fully adaptable to the needs of each business and in line with individual specifications. Independent entry points with loading bays and finally self-standing yet interconnected units within a vibrant working ecosystem. The site also benefits from services such as a nursery, a restaurant and a fitness centre in line with occupants’ needs.
For this project, the project owner has entrusted Orllati Géothermie SA for the drilling part and was convinced by the technology of the GEROtherm® VARIO probes. Thanks to their conical design, they enable system performance to be optimised, whilst limiting pressure losses and installation-related energy costs. The Orllati company has drilled 80 boreholes with GEROtherm® VARIO geothermal probes of 320 meters for this building site. Three drilling rigs were in use at the same time.
