HakaGerodur recently announced the delivery of its 500.000. factory-welded geothermal probe. A unique VARIO geothermal probe with a bronze-coloured protective jacket was manufactured for this occasion.

The company HASTAG St. Gallen Bau AG has been a HakaGerodur customer from the very beginning. The anniversary borehole was installed during a small ceremony at the Vogelherdstrasse construction site in St. Gallen.

Before the women's U23 race in Cheile Gradiștei, Romania, the starting position for the Swiss team did not look particularly good. In the race in muddy conditions and low temperatures, Monique was able to prove her riding technique and secured the European title in the Cross Country XCO.

Laser welding is used consistently in the manufacture of the metal composite pipes. The aluminium inner tube is longitudinally butt-welded using the latest laser welding technology.

SESU pipes from Hallingplast are next-generation self-sinking pressure pipes.

In the course of the renovation and extension of the office and production building, our pair of storks has already moved to their new location. The existing nest was placed on the Aepli steel structure in consultation with the Uznach Stork Association.


The storks have already accepted their modern home and got used to the new view - we are still getting used to the new approach corridors.

The Linth plain in the canton of St. Gallen is known for its large stork colony. A pair of storks also raises their young every year on a disused chimney of HakaGerodur AG, Benken. Visitors to the plant are sometimes familiar with the "approach habits" of the storks.

In 2015, the stork pair raised three young birds. This was done under regular observation by Mr. Maag of the company Maag-isch GmbH. The resulting video recordings were summarized in an impressive short film of 4 minutes and can be viewed at the following link:
